Why Vote Massmann?
I believe that all children, not just my own, without regard to age, race, income, gender, religion, orientation, disability, or origin are entitled to excellent childhood education. I'll demand this for my children, and as your School Board Representative, I'll demand the same for yours.
We are blessed to have many incredible educators and support staff in our community. I will vote to provide them with the facilities, materials, resources, and training necessary to continue to succeed.
I will be a gracious steward of the community tax dollars that fund our education system. I will be creative in developing a strategy to spend efficiently and effectively. I will ask difficult questions of our District Administrators to ensure my full comprehension of our District's operations.
In the constantly changing world that we live in, we must create proactive strategies that foster alternative and hybrid learning models to ensure every student receives the same education, regardless of the means of delivery.
Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity are more important today than they have ever been as our community continues to evolve, and a common sense approach is critical. Celebrate our diversity, without mandating quotas to make it exist. Provide students with equal opportunities, without forcing for equal outcomes. Create an inclusive district for all students, without requiring students and staff to abandon realities and forfeit their beliefs.
Student achievement needs to be our reason for existence as a public education system, and we need to work tirelessly to accomplish this. Our schools are not the place for framing ideologies, and politics have no place here. Our students are the leaders of our tomorrow, our role is to prepare them for that great responsibility.
Received the endorsement of the Minnesota Parent's Alliance, a group that identifies and recommends school board candidates across the state who are aligned with their mission of improving K-12 education by prioritizing student achievement, student and teacher safety, transparency, accountability and parent-teacher partnership. Identified as a candidate who can create a brighter future for our students, our schools and our state through focused, principled leadership.
